How It All Got Started
In 2008 the McDonald family was forever changed when their youngest daughter, Brooke, was taken from them. This family is living proof that life doesn’t always go as planned. Philosopher Joseph Campbell so eloquently put it, “We must let go of the life we had planned, so as to accept the one that has been given to us.”

On October 4, 2008 a man by the name of Thomas Grieco (currently serving a 15 year sentence) intentionally took the life of 17 year old Brooke McDonald. A void will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew Brooke; however, her family wanted to make sure that her memory lived on.

Tribute To Life is a non-profit organization created by the McDonald family to benefit youth groups, special needs children, and troubled teens. It would be amazing to change and save the lives of many children, but even to save one life makes it all worthwhile.
